Accommodation

We want our patients to feel at ease – and we know that in that respect, their daily environment is the key. Our patients spend their stay in bright and cheerful rooms, with views looking out over the countryside. Some of the rooms even have a view of the Rhine river valley and the Siebengebirge mountains.

Comfort is key: the bright, spacious environment supports the therapy process.

The rooms in our newest buildings are significantly larger than those found in an average hospital, in order to allow more space for treatments, care and the needs of individuals.

Damit sich unsere Patienten wohlfühlen sind die Zimmer hell, großzügig und funktional gestaltet.

Our rooms are suitable for accommodating patients with acute medical conditions, and are equipped with telephone, cable television, wireless internet, and a shower and toilet – there is also, of course, an integrated nurse call system in all areas.
Each of our seven buildings has both single and shared rooms, with the standard rooms available at no extra charge.

In our newest buildings, we also offer two-bed and single rooms of various different sizes. The large rooms have air-conditioning and integrated underfloor heating, and are both comfortable and sophisticatedly designed.

The rooms in the paraplegia centre give severely paralysed patients the opportunity to use the telephone, internet and TV, using head, mouth and speech controls.

The rooms in the Paraplegia Centre are also perfectly tailored to meet the needs of our patients: bright, spacious, with the right dimensions for wheelchair users and equipped with all the necessary technical devices, they support the patient and promote the progress being made in therapy. Patients with severe paraplegia are able to use internet, e-mail, television and telephone through the use of a media arm. Wheelchair friendly bathrooms and integrated overhead lift systems are also installed, allowing for the gentle transfer and mobilisation of patients.

In cases of medical necessity, the majority of the rooms can be made suitable for the carrying out of intensive medical procedures, including the use of respiratory equipment.
